The phenomenon of orgen tunggal in Nagari Pilubang, Padang Pariaman Regency, besides serving as a form of community entertainment, also raises social issues such as violations of curfew regulations, fights, drunkenness, saweran practices, and actions that contradict customary and religious values. These conditions encourage the community, traditional leaders, religious figures, youth, and the nagari government to take various measures in addressing the orgen tunggal phenomenon. Based on these circumstances, this study discusses the forms of efforts made by the people of Nagari Pilubang in dealing with the orgen tunggal phenomenon and the factors influencing these efforts. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, involving informants selected through purposive sampling, namely niniak mamak, religious leaders, nagari officials, youth, and community members. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies, with validity tested using triangulation techniques, while data analysis was conducted through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that community efforts include regular youth meetings, pre-event deliberations, limiting event duration until 00.00 WIB, and religious activities. Factors influencing these efforts include community awareness of regulations and low participation in pre-event meetings. Through cooperation among various parties, these efforts serve as a form of social control to maintain order and uphold customary and religious values in Nagari Pilubang.
